KOPACEVO KOPACEVO, Nov 12 (Hina) - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Croatian Minister for European integrations Ljerka Mintas Hodak on Saturday attended the consecration of the reconstructed Hungarian Reformist church in
Kopacevo (eastern Croatia). The Hungarian Government invested DM500,000 into the reconstruction of the church which was destroyed during the Serb aggression on Croatia. Stressing the importance of the reconstruction of the church, Hodak told reporters Croatia was grateful to the Hungarian Government for helping with the reconstruction. She added this was more proof on good neighbourly relations between the two countries. The reconstructed church is important for the spiritual renewal of members of the Hungarian national minority who, just like Croats, "brutally suffered in the imposed war in Croatia and suffered greatly for a free and democratic Croatia," Hodak said.(hina) lml
