LIVNO, Nov 4 (Hina) - In the past two months, 74 Croat families have returned from Livno to Bugojno, while there are still between 800 and 1,000 Bugojno Croats in the Livno municipality, municipality head Stipe Barun said. Barun took
part Wednesday in a meeting of the joint municipality commission for promoting two-way return of refugees and displaced persons. The commission comprises the two town's heads. The meeting focused on the process of return of displaced Bugojno Croats temporarily accommodated in the Livno municipality and the return of Livno Bosniaks (Moslems) accommodated in Bugojno. "I believe the progress in the return of Croats to Bugojno is
evident. We exchanged lists of Croats who should soon return to
their homes," Barun said.
International organisations should have completed the
reconstruction of 1,500 homes this year. Only 500 were
reconstructed, while the most damaged homes weren't even touched,
he stressed.
