ZAGREB, Oct 28 (Hina) - The Croatian Constitutional Court at Thursday's extraordinary session rejected a Croatian Peasants' Party (HSS) proposal for the assessment of the constitutionality of a House of Representatives decision on the
election of Constitutional Court judges. Having established that the contentious decision had no character of either a law or another regulation, the Constitutional Court rejected the HSS proposal, the Court said in a statement. The Court discussed the proposal at a regular session yesterday, and concluded the contentious decision should be obtained, and a decision on the HSS proposal made at a 8 November session. Given that the decision was obtained immediately and the matter ready for decision-taking, the Constitutional Court decided to take a decision on the HSS proposal at today's extraordinary session, the Court statement said.(hina) ha jn
