A discussion about the motion by the Croatian Peasants' Party (HSS) on initiating a process for assessing whether the Lower House's decision was based on the constitution has been postponed for November 8. Attorney Alaburic in her appeal stated that candidates for judges of the Constitutional Court cannot be discussed and decided on as a "packet" as was the case with last week's election of new Constitutional Court judges, but every candidate must be discussed individually. The fact that she lodged the appeal, although she was not connected with the election of the judges, Alaburic explained with the right of every citizen to file a complaint against an act of "public nature". The Constitutional Court did not accept her arguments. The discussion on initiating the process of assessing the constitutionality of the Constitutional Law on the Constitutional Court has been taken off the agenda as it will be decided on by the Constitutional Court itself.
