service will last fifteen years with usual LIBOR interest rate.
The Croatian Government will earmark additional 10.9 million US
dollars for the implementation of this project.
Its purpose is to help improve the primary and secondary health
protection.
Within this project, a pilot programme in the primary protection
will be carried out in the northern town of Koprivnica. In case it
shows expected results, such programmes will be conducted
throughout the country.
The prevention of cardiac diseases and the treatment of patients
with heart disorder will be covered by this project as well.
A part of the loan should be allocated for the removal of
pharmaceutical waste.

in the country until 1998.
Since 1993 when Croatia became a member of the World Bank, loans,
valued about 783.5 million dollars have been approved for 18
