MOSTAR, Oct 1 (Hina) - The coordination of Croat officials in
county and federal authorities in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Friday
established a body which should solve problems of displaced persons
and refugees in line with their interest in the return, the Co-
ordination's secretary, Zoran Perkovic, said.
The Mostar meeting, chaired by the President of the Croat-Moslem
Federation, Ivo Andric Luzanski, analysed failures in the
resolution of material and statutory problems of returnees.
According to Perkovic, they also discussed a possible construction
of settlements for those displaced people who do not intent to
return to their hometowns and villages where they used to live
before the war.
He added they had also considered the re-organisation of the
central Bosnian town of Travnik. Perkovic recalled that under a
decision which the Federation's Forum had made more than a year ago,
it was established that Travnik should be reorganised just as
Mostar (where three municipalities are with a Croat majority and
another three with a Moslem majority). He pinned the blame on
Moslems for the obstruction of Travnik's reorganisation.
Present at Mostar meeting was also the chairman of the Bosnian
collective Presidency, Ante Jelavic.
