ZAGREB, Sept 24 (Hina) - A series of Croatian ministry, government,

Croatia", a book with which the government will acquaint all
segments of the Croatian society.#L#
The book was compiled with input from foreign experts as well.
"Bringing European standards to life in all segments of the
Croatian society is the key task on Croatia's path to the integrated
Europe of the new millennium," Croatian European Integration
Minister Ljerka Mintas-Hodak says in the book's introduction.
"It is therefore of outstanding importance that this Plan of
integration activities come to life, both among the Croatian public
and in political and experts circles, and in public administration
in particular," Mintas-Hodak says.
The Croatian Government compiled the book in view of setting the
priorities necessary for Croatia's European integration
processes.
The book evaluates and defines Government activities in politics,
economy, law, institutions' development, education, and
information, while simultaneously providing insight into the
differences between the policies and regulations of the European
Union (EU) and Croatia.
The making of the Plan was coordinated by the Government Office for
European Integration. The book consists of a Government work
programme and a report on the degree of Croatia's integration with
the EU in politics, economy, and the law.
Another component part is a technical chapter, made by Croatian
experts according to the structure of the White Paper on Central and
East Europe countries' preparations for integration with EU's
internal market.
The 564-book was published in Croatian and English, and will be
presented to the international community in view of expanding
dialogue on the gradual and integral integration of Croatia with
European institutions.
