ZAGREB, Sept 21 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo Sanader on Tuesday received former German Vice Chancellor and Foreign Minister Hans Dietrich Genscher, who is visiting Croatia to promote the Croatian edition of his book
"Erinnerungen" (Memories). According to a statement from the Croatian Foreign Ministry, Sanader thanked Genscher for the book which describes crucial events for Croatia from the beginning of this decade, and particularly for Genscher's personal commitment and assistance to Croatia. The German official expressed satisfaction at being in Croatia again, and pointed to the considerable progress Croatia had achieved in all fields. Foreign Minister Hans Dietrich Genscher, who is visiting Croatia to
promote the Croatian edition of his book "Erinnerungen"
(Memories).
According to a statement from the Croatian Foreign Ministry,
Sanader thanked Genscher for the book which describes crucial
events for Croatia from the beginning of this decade, and
particularly for Genscher's personal commitment and assistance to
Croatia.
The German official expressed satisfaction at being in Croatia

Sanader and Genscher also discussed the current political and
economic situation in Croatia which, the statement said, has turned
to the development of economy and the improvement of social
conditions, fortifying the country's stability and introduced
democracy.
Sanader said Croatia in foreign affairs persevered in the
realisation of its goals, which are integration with European and
transatlantic institutions.
