The conference should end with the adoption of a declaration and starting points for cooperation on this sensitive issue. Every country will be represented by a historian, a government official and a representative of a text book publisher. The UNESCO National Commission in Zagreb told Hina Wednesday Croatia would be represented by Neven Budak and Damir Agacic of the history department of the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb and Vlasta Sabljak from the Education and Sports Ministry. There is no information yet who will represent text book publishers. The technical concept was prepared by the Georg Eckert Institute for international text book research. This institution helped change historic text books by removing the intolerant texts concerning the historic animosity between Germany and Poland, and France and Germany. (hina) lml jn
