PRISTINA, Aug 19 (Hina) - Almost 20,000 Albanians from the municipalities of Bujanovac, Medvede and Preseve in southern Serbia have left their homes under pressure enforced by Serb military-police and paramilitary forces, Thursday's
edition of the Pristina daily "Koha Ditore" reported. The refugees claim that they were abused, looted and the majority have taken refuge in Kosovo. Over 360 Albanian families with a total of 3,700 members have settled in the Kosovo municipality of Gnjilane alone. Reports of the latest wave of refugees as a result of Serb oppression have been made to the KFOR, UNHCR and OSCE but Albanian refugees claim that so far they have not received any real assistance to prevent the refugee wave from continuing.(hina) sp
