KNIN MAYOR KNIN, July 28 (Hina) - No country where the property rights are not respected can expect any foreign investment, said the UN Human Rights Special Rapporteur for former Yugoslavia, Jiri Dienstbier, on Wednesday after his
meeting with Josip Odak, Mayor of central Croatian town of Knin. It is necessary to abandon a dogmatic approach to the policy of return, Dienstbier said adding that a final solution for refugees' problems should be reached in accordance to refugees' wish. He recommended that states in the area of former Yugoslavia should cooperate in order to facilitate their admission to European institutions. Knin Mayor Odak said about 30 percent of ethnic Serbs (10,000) had come back to Knin so far. He stressed that the housing problem of Croats who have settled in Knin in recent years and who have to vacate flats and houses for Serb returnees, might be solved by the construction of new
