ZAGREB, Aug 12 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa on Thursday visited the military air base in Divulje and its 20th escadrille responsible for the sea. Premier Matesa also visited fire struck regions around Seget, Kastel
Kambelovci and Rudine (southern coastline). He was accompanied by air base brigadier Matko Raos, deputy fire super intendant Zeljko Sutler, Split fire super intendant Tomislav Grgin and his deputy Tomislav Vuke, the Government's Public and Media Relations office reported. Some 600 firefighters and 100 vehicles were involved in battling bush fires in this section of Dalmatia, including a Canadair and helicopter. Premier Matesa praised the professionalism of those involved in putting out the recent fire stating that joint efforts helped avoid a much greater tragedy.
