SARAJEVO, Aug 17 (Hina) - Governing structures in Bosnia-Herzegovina had four years to reach an agreement on the establishment of new radio and television companies. All their complaints regarding the law pertaining to the issue now come too late, head of the media office of the Office of the High Representative to Bosnia-Herzegovina (OHR), Daniel De Luce, said in Sarajevo Tuesday. He told reporters new laws on a public radio and television service on a national level and on a Bosnian Federation radio and television service represented a frame for the establishment of a flexible and realistic system which would serve the interests of all three peoples in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Bosnian Federation programmes will begin with airing fairly quickly, while broadcasts on a national level would need more time. The OHR holds problems could be expected in the realisation of the project due to the dissatisfaction of sections of the Party of democratic Action (SDA) and Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) with imposed legal solutions. The new High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch, who officially assumed his duty on Monday, is soon expected to appoint members of the Constitutional Committee for the Bosnia-Herzegovina Public Radio and Television, and a Supervisory Committee of the Bosnian Federation RTV.
