A police investigation established that A.Z. had bought those
travel papers from M.R. (born in 1974), a Beli Manastir citizen,
Osijek-Baranja County Police reported on Friday.
After the police procedure was completed, it was found out that the
passports had been a part of 272 travel papers stolen from
municipality authorities' offices in Jagodnjak (near Darda) last
December.
Police added that another person still at large had been involved in
this illegal business with passports. A warrant for arrest of that
person has been issued.
Charges have been pressed against M.R. who has been arrested.
Charges have been also preferred against A.Z.
