PULA, June 23 (Hina) - Four citizens of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia where caught in the northern Adriatic town of Umag while trying to illegally cross the state border, the Umag police reported on Wednesday. During regular
traffic control, Umag police officers stopped a taxi vehicle, bearing Rijeka registration plates, in the Umag region on Monday afternoon. The four FRY citizens were caught in the vehicle - three of them are from Montenegro, and one is from Kosovo. The police investigation determined that the three Yugoslav citizens from Montenegro have illegally entered Croatia near the Southern Croatian town of Imotski in the night between June 16 and 17. After reaching the southern Croatian city of Split, the three Yugoslavs headed to the northern Adriatic city of Rijeka, where they met up with the fourth Yugoslav citizen from Kosovo on June 20.
