Croatian Radio Television (HRT) violates rights guaranteed by the European convention on trans-border television, to which Croatia is a party. The violation of these rights will directly affect the rights of employees, which have been on a low level for some time, the union said in a statement on Monday. The union further claims that the income from commercials on other European public televisions is larger than HRT's, and names as examples Austria (52.8%), the Czech Republic (39.3%), Spain (75.3%) and Poland (73%). union suggested broadcasting several programmes on the creation of
