ZAGREB, June 17 (Hina) - The Institute Open Society Croatia on Thursday presented media and media programmes it was supporting with about US$300,000 out of the envisaged $600,000. Most of the funds ($80,000) has been donated to the
project of the cultural magazine "Zarez" and the "Feral Tribune" weekly ($30,000), director of the Open Society media programme director, Sasa Milosevic, told a news conference Thursday. He said the bid for donating assistance was still open. The funds will also be donated to "Hrvatska lijevica", "Identitet", "Polemos" and others, Milosevic said, adding that these media "promoted the values of the civil society, democracy, the rights of minorities and fought against inflammatory speech".
