ZAGREB, June 10 (Hina) - The Croatian Government on Thursday granted several rehabilitation loans from budgetary reserves, as well as loans for the payment of salaries to employees of the Duga Resa cotton industry and for the payment
of one months' salary to employees in Vukovar's Vupik company. The Government granted the process to be initiated for the signing of a memorandum on the liberalisation of trade with Ukraine, and of a protocol on water and health. The Government adopted reports on negotiations with Italy and Israel on mutual stimulation and protection of investments and with Estonia on trade and economic cooperation. The Government granted the opening of a temporary Czech consulate in Sibenik (central Adriatic) during the summer, a Pakistani consulate in Zagreb and an honorary Croatian consulate in Karthoum, Sudan.
