ZAGREB, May 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Government on Thursday adopted amendments to an agreement with the American company Bechtel, the Croatian Government's Public and Media Relations Office said. The amendments determines changes to a
section of the future Zagreb - Split - Dubrovnik highway. The Government decided on granting state-owned land to the Zadar County, which will give it to the American investor for the construction of hotels, villas, marinas and a number of sports grounds for elite tourism. The Government's intention is to economically assist the development of the Zadar County, and the land will be granted under condition that the investment be realised. On the contrary, the land must be returned to the state. The Government granted US$700,000 of humanitarian assistance for Albania and Macedonia to provide Kosovar refugees. The Government decided on granting state-owned land to the Zadar

The Government has established a coordination for the
implementation of special relations between Croatia and the
Bosnian Federation and Bosnia-Herzegovina, which will be led by
Minister Milan Kovac.
Lidija Lukina Karajkovic, assistant justice minister, was
appointed Croatian Government representative at the European Court
for human rights.
