TIRANA: SERBIAN FORCES CONTINUE ATTACKING ALBANIAN VILLAGES TIRANA, April 12 (Hina) - Radio Tirana on Monday reported a cannon attack by Yugoslav border forces on villages in northern Albania, in the area of Stara Topoja. There have
been no reports on possible victims or consequences of the attack. In the past two days, three civilians were killed and another 12 were wounded in clashes between the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and Serbian forces on the border between Kosovo and Albania. Serbian forces are accusing the Albanian side of provoking the clashes, adding the Yugoslav forces are only attacking KLA troops. Radio Tirana also reported that the number of refugees arriving from Kosovo in Albania has decreased. Only 38 Kosovo Albanians crossed the border crossing Morina into Albania on Monday. There are 110,000 Kosovo Albanians in the Albanian town of Kukes currently. The total number of Kosovo refugees who fled to Albania exceeds 300,000.(hina)
