ZAGREB, April 12 (Hina) - A deficit of US$63 million was recorded in the Croatian government budget in February, the Croatian Finance Ministry said. The deficit is the consequence of a poor revenue season and significant obligations
in settling debts and interest rates which were due for payment at the end of January and early February. Twenty nine million US dollars were for February financed from foreign sources, while the rest of it came from domestic sources. The total deficit in January and February 1999 amounted to US$148.6 million. For the most part, namely US$148.6 million, was financed from domestic sources.(hina) it jn/lml
