ZAGREB, March 26 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament House of Representatives on Friday discussed amendments to the Law on Health Insurance and a bill on the inspection of road traffic and roads. According to the amendments to the Law on Health Insurance, persons in independent professions who do not pay contributions and duties would only have the right to emergency medical assistance. Several MPs in the discussion warned about the non-fulfillment of Parliament conclusions on health care, and asked that the Government prepare a detailed account of the ways in which the Parliament decisions are being fulfilled. MPs agreed the health care system was not possible to rehabilitate without the rehabilitation of the overall economy and a re-balance of the state budget.
