ZAGREB, Feb 10 (Hina) - An Israeli company "ELBIT System" will modernise the Croatian fighter plane MIG 21, the Croatian Defence Ministry said Wednesday. The decision was reached by an expert commission of the Defence Ministry and the
Croatian armed forces headquarters after comparative analyses of submitted applications. The "ELBIT System" submitted its application to an international tender together with the "IAI Lahav Division" (Israeli Aircraft Industries). The decision in choosing Israeli companies is based on the fact that the Israeli were among the leading in this industry and the modernisation of Croatian fighter aircraft would be accomplished in Croatia.(hina) lml mm
