MOSTAR, Jan 18 (Hina) - Herzegovina-Neretva Canton police arrested the owner of 'Renner', a company from the southern Bosnian town of Stolac, the Canton's Interior Minister's Office said in a statement on Monday. The statement said
the police "arrested several persons suspected of taking part in the organisation of international criminal routes." 'Renner' and its owner Jozo Peric were negatively spoken of last summer by then current head of the Mostar-based regional office of the international high representative for Bosnia Martin Garrod. Garrod had claimed the company was acting illegally and was taking control over the whole town of Stolac. The company was also accused by NATO's Stabilisation Force, which claimed the company had staged a blockade of the Stolac-Capljina road last November, following SFOR's arrest of a Croat for the illegal possession of a weapon at a checkpoint on that road.(hina) ha jn
