TEL AVIV TEL AVIV, Feb 10 (Hina) - Croatian officials organised a press conference with very high attendance at the international Mediterranean tourism market - IMTM 99, which is being held in Tel Aviv, the Croatian Foreign Ministry
reported on Wednesday. This is the second time Croatia is participating in the event, the fifth of its kind. The event traditionally gathers all leading Israeli and numerous foreign tourist organisations. The number of visits of Israeli tourists to Croatia has been on the rise for the past several years and it is expected that 10,000 Israeli tourists will visit Croatia this year. Present at the press conference were Croatia's Ambassador to Israel, Svjetlan Berkovic, head of the Croatian Tourist Association's main office, Marijan Bulat, Zagreb Tourist Association director Drazen Hochecker and a representative of the Dubrovnik County Tourist Association, Vladimir Brkic. Bulat informed reporters about the current situation in tourism in

regard to the programmes aimed at increasing the number of visits of
Israeli tourists.
