ZAGREB, Jan 28 (Hina) - A working group at the Alpe-Jadran association on Thursday presented in Zagreb a tourist atlas of the association. The atlas covers 19 Alpe-Jadran member-countries, i.e. a 306,650 square km area inhabited by
some 43.84 million people. The Alpe-Jadran association includes Croatia and neighbouring Slovenia, the south German province of Bavaria, five provinces in northern Italy, five Hungarian and five Austrian provinces of which one has monitor status, and one Swiss province, also with monitor status. The association aims to stimulate development through inter-regional cooperation, and informative and expert treatment and coordination of issues of common interest to member-countries.
