"By presenting this book, we are fulfilling our vow that we would write down everything we went through in Serb concentration camps, so that the suffering Croatian soldiers and civilians experience in them will not be forgotten," said Danijel Rehak, author of "Along the Paths of Hell through Serb Concentration Camps". More than 10,000 soldiers and civilians passed through Serb concentration camps established in formerly occupied Croatian, as well as on Bosnian and Yugoslav territories. day for the victims of 1991's Serb aggression on Vukovar.
"By presenting this book, we are fulfilling our vow that we would
write down everything we went through in Serb concentration camps,
so that the suffering Croatian soldiers and civilians experience in
them will not be forgotten," said Danijel Rehak, author of "Along
the Paths of Hell through Serb Concentration Camps".
More than 10,000 soldiers and civilians passed through Serb
concentration camps established in formerly occupied Croatian, as
well as on Bosnian and Yugoslav territories.
The book contains 260 photographs, testimonies of 70 former
inmates, and a list of persons exhumed to date in Croatia.
Former inmate Dragutin Guzovski said the book was an unavoidable
document and testimony on the suffering of the Croatian people
during last decade's Serb aggression.
