687 EXHIBITORS PARTICIPATE IN THREE SPECIALISED ZAGREB FAIRS

ZAGREB, Nov 7 (Hina) - Three international fairs opened in Zagreb on Tuesday, featuring 687 exhibitors, of which 354 from abroad, the 23rd fair of books and learning tools INTERLIBER-EDUCA, the 16th graphic industry fair INTERGRAFIKA, and the 32nd fair of information technology INFO. Opening the fair, parliamentary speaker Zlatko Tomcic said information technology, publishing, and the accompanying specialised industry branches were the foundation of every country's success in meeting the demands of the increasingly fast development in technology. Tomcic said investment in said branches ought to be raised to the level of their share in gross national product and supported by tax policy incentives. INTERLIBER-EDUCA offers books, publishing data, and teaching and education tools. This year, it will also feature an exhibition of specialised foreign literature. INTERGRAFIKA features state-of-the-art production means and technology in the graphic industry. INFO features 396 exhibitors offering the majority of Croatia's information entrepreneurship, achievements in the placement of computers and computer equipment, and world trends available on the Croatian market.
