ZAGREB, Oct 19 (Hina) - Croatia's exhibition at the Frankfurt book fair this year is progress in relation to past years. This year more than a hundred key publishers have gathered, as opposed to last year when only two dozen
participated, Croatian Culture Minister Antun Vujic told Hina via telephone from Frankfurt. The profile of exhibited books follows the interests of readers, so we did not go with a bunch of monument literature as had been the case in previous years, Vujic said. "It is important to say that books are a promotion of Croatian culture, but also Croatia as a whole. This time we took the path which could open Croatia up for European and global interests -- from culture, politics, to tourism.
