ZADAR, Oct 13 (Hina) - Little has been done in resolving the major problems of civilian war victims and it is necessary to adopt a single law on the Homeland Defence War, which would regulate the rights of all victims, the Association
of Civilian Homeland Defence War Victims said at its second convention in the southern town of Zadar on Friday. A representative of the Labour and Welfare Ministry attending the conference supported the association's request that the rights of military and civilian war victims be equalised and informed the participants about a draft bill on the protection of military and civilian war victims. A total of 3,115 civilians were killed and another 9,889 went missing during the Homeland Defence War. These figures include 306 children, whereas another 1,276 children were wounded.
