ZAGREB, Oct 13 (Hina) - An association named after Croatian war correspondent Sinisa Glavasevic who was killed by Serb aggressors in the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar in 1991, on Friday forwarded a request to the Croatian national
parliament's head, Zlatko Tomcic, to send into an urgent procedure a draft law which will enable the proclamation of heroes of the Croatian Homeland Defence War. The association recalls that it has requested the President of the Republic and Minister in charge of war veterans that Sinisa Glavasevic be declared a hero of the Homeland War, but then it was established that the request could not be met as there was no act which regulated the matter of such proclamation. The association believes that the adoption of such an act would be the best answer to all those who would like instrumentalise the war.(hina) jn ms
