DUBROVNIK DUBROVNIK, Sept 24 (Hina) - A regular conference "EUROTRAC-2" began in Dubrovnik Sunday night focusing on pollution in the atmosphere. The conference is tied with a European Union project on investigating pollution
transformations in the atmosphere above the European continent. The meeting's subject is the investigation of the troposphere ozone (TOR) as part of the EUREKA programme in which scientists of Zagreb's "Rudjer Boskovic" institute are taking part. The EUROTRAC project has been assessed as the most ambitious and greatest effort by scientists in examining the atmosphere, and has been extended from the primary eight years for another six, until the year 2002.
