Representatives of the State Prosecutor's Office said that by 1 pm
today they had not received any request by the attorneys of the
apprehended persons that the Rijeka County Court Deputy State
Prosecutor be exempt from the proceedings. The attorneys had asked
for exemption, stressing there was no reason for allocating
jurisdiction because the State Prosecutor in Gospic was "alive and
well".
