tax burden on the family consumer goods basket, the Potrosac society said in a statement. The import reduction, effective today, is an attempt to prevent foreign exchange outflow, asserted Potrosac. It would be "more simple, more effective, and socially more appropriate" to introduce three Value Added Tax rates, of zero, five, and 18 percent, Potrosac said, adding this was a political and moral obligation the ruling coalition had to comply with in line with promises made at parliamentary elections. Croatia costs DM1,200, against the DM700 in Slovenia and DM400 in
