ZAGREB, Sept 5 (Hina) - Croatia's exchange of commodities with other countries totalled $6.9 billion in the first seven months of 2000, and was higher by 2.2 percent compared to that period in the last year. Croatia's entire export
came to $2.5 billion, and was 6.67 percent higher as against the first seven months in 1999, according to figures released by the Croatian Statistical Office. Croatia imported goods worth $4.4 billion in the January-July period with a 0.21 percent fall as against the same period last year. A trade deficit was $1.8 billion and the 57.6 percent of the import was covered by the export. According to the Statistical Office, the largest part in Croatia's export referred to machines and means of transport and the value of their export amounted to $709.8 million. Italy remains Croatia's leading partner in this sector, as
