ZAGREB, July 18 (Hina) - According to figures released by six boards of tourism at the Adriatic coast and in Zagreb, Croatian resorts registered 7.75 million overnights in the first half of this year and it represented a 53 percent
increase as against the same period in 1999. Foreigners' overnights amount to 6.57 million, while Croatians had 1.18 million. Istria County, which had the highest number of overnight stays, registered a total of 3.29 overnights and this was by 42 percent higher in comparison to results in the first six month of 1999. Of foreign guests, Germans, who were at the top of the list, realised 1.88 million stays overnight and it was by 79 percent higher as against the first half of 1999.(hina) ms
