PULA, July 11 (Hina) - A total of 122,686 tourists, of whom 118,617 foreign and 4,069 domestic, are spending their holidays on the northern Adriatic peninsula of Istria, which is a 33 percent increase in relation to last year and a 24
percent increase in comparison to 1998, the Istria Tourism Board reported. Most tourists are vacationing in the areas of Rovinj (17,711), Porec (14,381), Tar (13,152) and Vrsar (12,596). Most foreign arrivals are from Slovenia, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria.(hina) rml
