ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) - Tourism Minister Pave Zupan Ruskovic is satisfied with the results achieved since the start of the tourist season last weekend and assesses that tourist turnover this year could increase by 30-35 percent in
relation to last year. One can expect that about six million tourists will spend their holidays in Croatia this year, which would account for 60-70 percent of the pre-war turnover. This, however, is not even close to the results Croatia should be achieving, the Minister believes. She also expressed satisfaction with the performance of tourist workers, of whom many have been working for months without wages.One should also be grateful to foreign partners without whom it would be impossible to carry out preparations for the tourist season, she added. expected to reach their peak. However, private accommodation has
