ZAGREB, June 15 (Hina) - At Thursday's session, the Croatian Government forwarded a bill which postpones the beginning of the implementation of the second degree of the pension reform until January 1, 2002, into the Croatian National
Sabor's proceedings. According to Croatian Labour and Social Welfare Minister Davorko Vidovic, in that period an agency which will supervise the work of pension funds and carry out other preparations, should be established. Amendments to the law on mandatory and voluntary pension funds, law on pension insurance companies and the payment of pensions based on individual capitalised savings, include changes in the management of the agency headed by a council of 11 members. The overall expense of the pension reform is estimated to about 8 billion kuna (DM2 billion).(hina) it jn
