of stores 'Nama', who on Thursday morning staged a rally in front of
the Government building in Zagreb, protesting against the decision
of Nama's supervisory board to refuse a programme of the company's

Prime Minister Ivica Racan, who met with Mario Ivekovic, county
commissioner of the Croatian Association of Trade Unions, said he
did not know why Nama workers were protesting in front of the
government building because the government had written off its
claims toward Nama. Nevertheless, he announced that competent
government officials would today meet representatives of Nama
workers.
The Nama supervisory board on Tuesday considered a programme of the
company's rehabilitation, drawn up by the management, and
concluded that there were no guarantees that the programme would be
successfully implemented. The supervisory board suggested that
bankruptcy proceedings and reorganisation of Nama be initiated
instead.
