SPLIT, June 8 (Hina) - Weak economic cooperation between Split-Dalmatia County and Hungary's Pecs-Baranja County needs to be strengthened, it was stressed at a traditional annual meeting of the two counties' businessmen, held in the
southern Croatian city of Split Thursday. During plenary and bilateral talks between representatives of eight Hungarian and about 30 Croatian companies, both parties expressed interest in cooperation and discussed concrete business plans. According to president of the Split-Dalmatia Chamber of Commerce Jadranka Radovanic last year's import from that area in Croatia decreased by 44 percent, while the export decreased by 43 percent .
