ZAGREB, May 31 (Hina) - Croatian Labour and Social Welfare Minister Davorko Vidovic on Wednesday held talks with the new German Ambassador to Croatia, Gebhardt Weiss, expressing wish for the issue of increasing the number of Croatian
company employees working in Germany from the current 4,800 to 7,000, to be discussed. Weiss said Germany was prepared to help the development of Croatia's economy in various ways, and to this aim the number of personnel of the German Embassy in Croatia would be increased, the Ministry said in a statement Wednesday. Vidovic informed Weiss about the Croatian Government's efforts to lay new foundations of tax policy, especially those connected with the stimulation of employment and foreign and domestic investments.(hina) lml mm
