BERLIN, June 7 (Hina) - Croatian parliament president Zlatko Tomcic on Wednesday called on German investors to invest in Croatia during talks in Berlin with German counterpart Wolfgang Thierse. "German capital is completely safe in
Croatia," said Tomcic, who today arrived in Berlin for a two-day visit. He emphasised Croatia no longer had political problems in connection with refugee returns. Without financial assistance however, it is difficult to effect the returns, he added. Tomcic said the success of concrete changes in Croatia depended on financial means and the situation in the economy. Germany's Thierse said his country fully supported the individual approach of Southeast Europe countries to the European Union and their evaluation for integration with European structures. "In Germany we are not thinking of some sort of assembling of former Yugoslav countries," Thierse said.(hina) ha jn
