ZAGREB, May 19 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Friday received Charles Crawford, a deputy political director in the British Foreign Office, and Michael C. Williams, a special advisor of the British Foreign Secretary,
Mesic's office reported today. Croatian President and the British officials considered the relations in the region, the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo as well as the ties between Zagreb and London. Crawford said his country was very satisfied with changes in Croatia and that it was ready to contribute to democratic and economic development as much as Croatia was prepared to accept it. He added that Great Britain was very interested in Croatian experiences in this region. of the British Foreign Secretary, Mesic's office reported today.

Michael Williams said British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook had been
very contend with his stay in Croatia in the mid-March and with his
meetings with Croatian officials, adding that Cook saw Croatia as a
country that sets an example to its neighbours.
