ZAGREB, May 19 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Vesna Cvjetkovic-Kurelec and Latvian Secretary of State Maris Riekstinis signed an agreement on avoiding double taxation in Riga on Friday, Croatian Foreign Ministry reported.
Cvjetkovic-Kurelec also held talks with vice president of the Latvian parliament Rihard Pics on cooperation between the two parliaments. She presented Latvian President Vairi Vike-Freiberga with an invitation of Croatian President Stipe Mesic to visit Croatia. The Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister also invited Latvian Foreign Minister Indulis Berzins and Secretary of State Reikenstinis to visit Croatia. By her visit to Latvia, where she held a press conference, Cvjetkovic-Kurelec concluded her three-day stay in Finland and Latvia.
