ROME, May 8 (Hina) - Italian President Carlo Ciampi on Monday evening received Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan with whom he held talks at the end of an official visit of a Croatian delegation to Italy and Vatican. Prime Minister
Racan participated in the consultation on the stability and security in the Southeast of Europe, the situation in Croatia and the situation in Serbia. After his speech at the consultation, Racan met with NATO Secretary General George Robertson and president of the Italian House of Representatives Luciano Violante. When asked about today's visit to Vatican, where he was received by Pope John Paul II, and Rome where he held talks with Italian senior officials, Racan said it was nice to be a Croat today in Rome.(hina) it jn

Prime Minister Racan participated in the consultation on the
