ZAGREB, April 27 (Hina) - Croatian Premier Ivica Racan on Thursday received representatives of Deutsche Telecom. The premier briefed the German company's representatives with government decisions on the formation of a government
commission for the privatisation of public companies and the initiation of the second stage of privatisation, namely a public offer of Croatian Telecom shares, the government's Media and Public Relations Service said in a statement. Today's talks also addressed the future development of telecommunications, which should step up Croatia's economic progress. Deutsche Telecom's representatives offered the possibility of modernising Croatia's school computer systems, with special emphasis on Internet connections in view of improving the education of children and the young, the statement said.
