ZAGREB, April 14 (Hina) - The Croatian Privatisation Fund (HFP) on Friday filed several charges against former managers of three companies from its portfolio because of their failure to initiate bankruptcy proceedings when legal
conditions had been met. Charges have been filed against members of management boards or supervisory boards of the Vrbovec food production industry Nama store chain and the Croatia Line shipping company. The HFP suggested that the State Attorney's Office gather necessary the information and issue an indictment motion against these, but also, other responsible persons from the three companies. It is suspected that white-collar crime had been committed in these companies, and the HFP suggested an investigation be carried out.
