important market for the Croatian tourism, this was stressed at talks between Croatian Tourism Minister Pave Zupan-Ruskovic and British and Northern Irish Ambassador to Croatia Colin Munroo, the Croatian Tourism Ministry reported. During the talks, the two officials concluded that the advertising of the Croatian tourism in Great Britain was poor, due to financial difficulties Croatia was currently facing. It was established that a negative image of Croatia as a tourist destination was slowly disappearing, which is a significant pre-condition for the development of the tourist industry and the Croatian economy overall. A new reorganisation of tourist portfolio owned by the state is
expected and will be offered via the Croatian Privatisation Fund in
cooperation with the Croatian Tourism Ministry.
