ZAGREB, April 3 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Goranko Fizulic on Monday received the Israeli Ambassador to Croatia Nathan Meron with whom he spoke about economic relations and the dissatisfying trade between the two countries,
the Economy Ministry said in a statement. Although the two countries are similar in surface area and population, and neither have large natural reserves, Israel's exports are several times greater than Croatia's. Meron relayed Israel's intention to assist Croatia in its further economic development, the statement said. Both sides agreed that the bilateral economic cooperation should continue being developed in the areas of agriculture, tourism and high technology. Fizulic and Meron also tackled the possibility of signing of two agreements, on trade and economic cooperation, and on the stimulation and protection of investments, before Croatian President Stipe Mesic's visit to Israel at
